The association „Unternehmerforum für den Mittelstand e.V.“ (UFM e.V.)  is a private group of entrepreneurs established in D-82319 Starnberg near Munich in Bavaria/Germany, which supports and promotes innovative start-ups in promising and innovative projects, industries, internet-projects and services. For us, developing successful young and innovative technology-, internet- and service-ventures, does not only require capital but also know-how and an active network.

When choosing our investments, we pay close attention to the additional customer value of the technology, process or product, and the unique selling propositions (USP). Additional customer value should be generated, e.g. through:

• efficiency and productivity improvement
• cost cutting or energy savings
• new distribution channels or markets

An unique selling proposition (USP) is fundamental for our cooperation with you and our investments. Furthermore, we put great emphasis on the team.  We are looking for a motivated, skilled and committed management team, able to maximize potential to the fullest. Moreover, reasonable manufacturing costs as well as promising target markets and attractive exit possibilities are decisive for a successful investment. As long as it is possible and sensible, UFM e.V. aims to cooperate with strong partners, e.g. established Private Equity- and VC-companies, in Germany or abroad, or with the “ERP Gründerfonds” (founder fund) from the public “KfW Banks Group” in Germany. Because UFM e.V. is an registered partner of “KfW Banks Group”, we are able to organize financing rounds from the “High-Tech Gründerfonds” (founder fund), “Bayern Kapital” or other public financing institutions, in cooperation with lead investors.

We're looking for companies with clear unique selling propositions (USP) and above average growth potential. We are focusing on Private Equity- und VC- investments into startups in all stages of their development, for example:
